Early HIV Symptoms in Women

Early HIV symptoms in women are different from HIV symptoms in men. It is important to say that HIV symptoms in women may not occur at all. However, during the early stage of HIV infection, there are several possible symptoms that can occur in women. These symptoms are rapid weight loss (without any diet), flu-like symptoms, genital warts, white spots inside the mouth and skin rash. These symptoms can last for two, three or four weeks and they usually go away on their own, without any special treatment.

Some of the typical HIV symptoms in women can be sudden loss of appetite, intense and constant headache, night sweats, and diarrhea. According to the latest scientific research, a woman who has a strong immune system can recover, but only if HIV is detected in time and the treatment is started immediately.
